Oil-ternative® Concrete Form Release Agent is a plant-based, biodegradable alternative to petroleum-based form release oils. Made from refined post-consumer cooking oil collected right here on Vancouver Island, it prevents concrete from bonding to formwork — wood, steel, aluminum, plywood, and fiberglass — while leaving zero petrochemical residue on your finished surface.
Unlike conventional diesel-based or solvent-based form oils, Oil-ternative® is low VOC, non-toxic, and safe for use near waterways, storm drains, and environmentally sensitive job sites across British Columbia.
